Three men were shot — one fatally — Friday night in South Dallas, police say.

Officers responded about 9:10 p.m. to a shooting call in the 3400 block of South Malcolm X Boulevard, near Warren Avenue. They found 43-year-old Edward Wilson wounded on the ground outside of a vehicle, police said, and he died at the location.

Two other men were wounded. Police said they were taken to hospitals, one by Dallas Fire-Rescue and the other in a private vehicle. Police said Saturday that both were in stable condition.

Investigators found that a suspect fired at the vehicle Wilson was sitting in, with a group gathered at the location.
