1 dead following downtown Dallas shooting Sunday; suspects at-large, police say

Authorities on Sunday evening found a man in downtown Dallas who was fatally shot, police said.

At about 11:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Young Street in response to a shooting call, according to a Monday news release.

Officers found a man, identified as Xavier Jasso, 25, who had been shot, police said, adding that he later died at a hospital.

Jasso was shot by “unknown suspects,” according to the news release.
