The only thing Zach Bryan’s fans love more than hearing his music is seeing him play live.
The Oklahoma native’s last two tours packed stadiums, so when he announced a surprise show at a tiny venue in Texas, fans showed up in droves.
Bryan announced the pop-up show in a now-deleted tweet: “9 pm I’m playin’ a 40-minute set at Sagebrush in Austin, Texas,” he wrote. “First 100 people to show up; first come, first serve. I love you guys thank you so much, try to get a ride.”
Videos from the gig showed a crowd of people waiting in line to get into the venue.

Superfan Chelsea McCullough said Bryan was supposedly shooting a music video at Sagebrush earlier in the day, and she made a beeline for the venue to become the second person in line. McCullough said easily 100 people showed up within 10 to 15 minutes.
McCullough ended up in the front row, and when she later went to purchase a beer, the bartender said Bryan had paid for everyone’s drinks that night.
“It’s a highlight of my year already,” McCullough said. “It was amazing to see an artist like that up close.”
