Silver Alert discontinued for missing 80-year-old Austin man
AUSTIN, Texas — UPDATE:
Jaime Tamariz was found, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
ORIGINAL STORY:
A Silver Alert was issued for a missing 80-year-old man last seen in Austin Friday afternoon.
The Austin Police Department is looking for Jaime Tamariz who was last seen walking in the 2200 block of Webberville Road at 6:30 p.m.

Officials say Tamariz is diagnosed with a cognitive impairment and believe his disappearance poses a credible threat to his own health and safety.
Tamariz is described to be a White man, 5’07” tall, weighs about 120 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue pants and black Nike sneakers.
