Lead singer of Austin band Nané dead at 29
Native artists and followers shared their recollections of Daniel Sahad on Fb.
AUSTIN, Texas — Daniel Sahad, the lead singer of Austin indie rock band Nané, has died.
“It’s with unbelievable ache that we’ve to share our lovely chief, Daniel Sahad, handed away final night time,” the band wrote on Fb on Monday. “Please give his household and associates the area they should course of this tragedy. Thanks all.”
In response to KVUE’s information companions on the Austin American-Statesman, Sahad was 29 years outdated.
Sahad and his band have been described by the Statesman as “a supersonic five-piece that carried out minor miracles of funk and soul that led to heart-soaring revelations,” topping its listing of Austin artists to comply with in 2022.
Followers and fellow artists have been fast to share their recollections and condolences on Monday.
“That is crushing information. What a stupendous gentle of music and love. My condolences to Daniel’s household, band mates, associates and lots of followers,” wrote native musician Nakia.
“What an unlimited expertise, and such a tragic loss,” the Texas Music Workplace stated.
“I am unable to even course of this. He was such a shining star, poised for greatness. Sending heartfelt like to the band, household, associates,” stated ACL Radio’s Loris Lowe.
Nané was featured in the newest Austin Metropolis Limits Music Competition in 2021, acting on the Miller Lite Stage.
Sahad’s explanation for loss of life has not been disclosed.
