K-State men’s basketball falls to Texas on the road

AUSTIN, TX. (WIBW) – Kansas State men’s basketball dropped its sixth straight conference road game on Monday night, falling to Texas 62-56 in Austin.

The Longhorns put up a small but comfortable lead early, and managed to hold onto it throughout the game.

Arthur Kaluma led the Wildcats with 15 points and 7 rebounds. David N’Guessan followed with 12 points and 7 boards off the bench. Tylor Perry added 11 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals.

The Wildcats are now 15-11 on the year, 5-8 in conference play. They have only five games remaining in regular season play, three of which will more than likely be ranked matchups.

They’ll next be back at home on Saturday to host No. 25 BYU at Bramlage Coliseum. Tipoff is set for 1:00 p.m.
