Hundreds of passengers reenter Austin airport following evacuation alert
AUSTIN, Texas – Tons of of passengers reentered Austin-Bergstrom Worldwide Airport (AUS) after an alarm prompted them to depart Tuesday afternoon.
Based on AUS, a smoke alarm triggered an evacuation simply earlier than 3 p.m.
Shortly after, the alarm and evacuation alert had been canceled and there was no risk to security.
Tons of of passengers that exited the airport had been allowed to reenter for rescreening procedures.
