Five people transported after 4-vehicle collision near the Austin airport

A 4-vehicle collision was reported with 7 patients involved between 8700 and 9116 Burleson Rd. just before 10 p.m. on Saturday. Delays were also expected in the area.

Austin Travis County EMS reported that 5 patients were declared trauma alerts, one of them being a child.

Two adults were treated on the scene of the collision and were not transported to the hospital, 5 people were ultimately transported.

One child was transported to Dell Children’s Medical Center with serious injuries, 3 adults were transported to St. David’s South, 1 with serious injuries and 2 with potentially serious injuries.

One adult was also transported to Dell Children’s Medical Center with minor injuries, no other information is available.
