CBS Austin earns multiple 2025 Best of Austin nods, including top TV news station
AUSTIN, Tx — The Austin Chronicle has officially released its 2025 Best of Austin nominations, and CBS Austin is proud to be recognized across several top categories.
CBS Austin is nominated for Best TV News Station, highlighting the team’s commitment to delivering trusted, engaging local news. Several familiar faces are also up for individual honors:
John-Carlos Estrada and Trevor Scott are nominated for Best TV Anchor/Reporter, a nod to their impactful storytelling and on-air presence.
Avery Tomasco and Chikage Windler earned nominations for Best Weatherperson, recognizing their reliable forecasting and deep connection with viewers.
And longtime sports staple Bob Ballou is in the running for Best Sportscaster, celebrating his dedication to covering Central Texas athletics.
