Austin officials advise residents to prepare for flooding ahead of tonight’s severe weather

Austin Emergency Administration is asking metropolis residents to arrange for flooding in space creeks forward of tonight’s extreme climate danger.

In a series of tweets posted on Saturday, Austin Emergency Administration mentioned that Bull Creek in Northwest Austin, Walnut Creek in North Austin, Little Walnut Creek in East Austin and Harris Department in Northeast Austin are prone to flooding because of current floor saturation.

Crews on the bottom are clearing particles from the creek and low water crossings and are working upstream as time permits, in response to the tweet thread.

Austin Emergency Administration is advising residents to arrange for the potential of flash flooding because of floor saturation and extra rainfall.
