The incident happened just after midnight on Sunday, December 3, at the TopGolf on Burnet Road and Esperanza Crossing. Two Texas Public Safety and Investigations officers, a private security company, were ambushed by four men which led to a physical altercation, according to the Fox 7 report.

One of the four men reportedly shot a security guard, who was then rushed to the hospital. All four persons of interest left the scene and no arrests were made that morning, according to the report. The guard was in a serious, but stable condition.

There has been a series of shooter-involved incidents in Austin over the past month. Last Friday, December 1, a man was arrested after an hours-long standoff in East Austin for allegedly shooting at Austin police and SWAT. And in early November, an APD officer died and another was injured following an overnight hostage shooting in a South Austin neighborhood.
