Watch GOP gubernatorial debate between Kemp, Perdue

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and prime Republican challenger David Perdue met Thursday evening for a debate forward of the first.

Information 12′s Richard Rogers was on the panel of journalists asking questions.

It was the second of three scheduled debates as Perdue, Kemp and different Republicans attempt to persuade voters to appoint them within the upcoming major.

Perdue is endorsed by former President Donald Trump, who has been targeted on defeating Kemp, who refused to overturn election outcomes displaying Trump misplaced the presidential vote in Georgia.

A runoff can be held June 21 if wanted.

The winner of the GOP nomination will face off in opposition to Democrat Stacey Abrams within the governor’s race.

The ultimate debate will start at 7 p.m. Sunday, hosted by the Atlanta Press Membership and aired by Georgia Public Broadcasting.
