Traffic backup cleared on I-20 eastbound at Georgia, South Carolina border

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A stalled vehicle on I-20 eastbound was cleared within two hours after causing backups stretching from the Georgia, South Carolina border bridge.

The Georgia Department of Transportation showed backups that started around 4:40 p.m., and vehicles were moving again by 6:00 p.m.

Traffic at one point built up to Exit 199.
