Shooting in downtown Augusta leaves one dead

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Richmond County Coroner’s Workplace is investigating a taking pictures in downtown Augusta that left one particular person useless Sunday morning.

In keeping with the Coroner’s Workplace, 31-year-old Percy Luther Johnson was shot not less than one time on the 700 Block of Broad Road. He was taken to Augusta College Medical Middle by EMS.

Johnson was pronounced useless at 2:43 a.m. Sunday morning. An post-mortem has been scheduled.
