AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – On Friday, SafeHomes of Augusta hosted its 8th annual Fake It to Make It fundraiser, helping domestic violence victims.

The show was a lip-synch challenge at the Columbia County Performing Arts Center.

“They all come together. They pick the music, the lip-synch battle, and they win a championship belt — the largest fundraiser, people’s choice and the judge’s choice,” said Executive Director Aimee Hall.

In 2019, the fundraiser was voted Best Fundraising Event by readers of Augusta Magazine.
