AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The high school basketball playoffs are just two weeks away, and on Friday night teams across the CSRA were battling for their region titles.

North Augusta went on the road to face Aiken.

The Lady Jackets dominated their matchup from start to finish, and went on to win 60-30. Kennedi Wright, Ashley, Walker, and Celena Grant all stepped up big time to help the Lady Jackets move to 5-0 in region play.

On the boys’ side, North Augusta jumped out to an early 8-0 lead, courtesy of back to back threes by Junior Forward DaRon Dunbar. Aiken kept the game close for most of the way, but when it mattered most, the Jackets got the job done, 56-42. The North Augusta boys’ team is also still unbeaten in region play.
