Augusta, GA – Nancy Jordan Byrd, daughter of the late Andrew Jordan and Margaret Wilcher Jordan, entered into everlasting relaxation on Friday, Could 27, 2022.
Nancy lived in Augusta for almost all of her life, shifting together with her household whereas her husband of 55 years served in america Navy. She retired from Civil Service the place she labored as a Unit Clerk on the VA Medical Heart and as a Supervisor of Medical Transcription at Eisenhower Military Medical Heart.
She is survived by her 4 youngsters: Andrea Byrd-Doak of Martinez, Elizabeth Byrd Palmer (Anthony) of Warrenville, James F. Byrd, II of Augusta, and Christopher B. Byrd of Augusta. Moreover she can also be survived by her grandchildren: Ashley Pelton (Scott) of North Augusta, AJ Doak (Megan) of Martinez, Melissa Palmer (Chris) of Warrenville, Benjamin Pelton (Annie) of Talmo, James F. Byrd, III of San Antonio, TX, Brandy Doak Schlein (Greg), and Andrea Buono of Martinez; nice grandchildren: Gracelynn Rae Doak, Alexis Zumbro, Kylie Schlein, Austin Adams, Zack and Melanie Pelton, Graylynn Elizabeth Lever, Isabella TyAnne Pelton, and Willa Grace Petrea; sister: Elizabeth Amerson of Appling; nieces, nephews, and cousins which have been extra like sisters and brothers; and her important different: Beman Boatright.
She was preceded in dying by her husband, James F. Byrd, Sr., her mom, Margaret Wilcher Jordan, and father, Andrew Jordan.
A memorial service will likely be held Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. within the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. The household will obtain pals following the service on the funeral residence.
