Governor Kemp signs income tax cut bill in Augusta

While the bill will cut income taxes over the course of a few years, there are some exceptions. If the fiscal year budget is not 3% higher than the current year’s budget, the bill allows the income tax cuts to be delayed.

A delay could also be triggered if the government’s revenue collection is not higher than the previous 3 years.
