GBI investigates the death of an Augusta man in Warrenton
WARRENTON, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been requested by the Warrenton Police Department to investigate the death of an Augusta man.
According to the press release, 28-year-old Keveonta Hill was the victim of a deadly shooting in Warrenton on Sunday.
Around 4:20 p.m., officers responded to a home in the 100 block of Culpepper Street in reference to a shooting, according to officials.
Officials say they discovered Hill inside the home with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
A GBI Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy at the GBI Crime Lab in Decatur, Georgia.
