Community holds candle lighting for missing Augusta man
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – On Monday, more than 50 people came together in faith, praying for the safe return of Demon Parrish.
Parrish went missing a week ago.
And people say they will not stop looking for him until he is safe.
Family, friends and loved ones lit candles supporting the one they say always has their back.
“He’s loved by God. He’s loved by not just his mother, not just his father, not just his son and siblings, but he is loved by this whole CSRA. We have people out here all the way from Aiken, S.C. down to Burke County,” said Quatisha Mccain, pastor of True Church of Augusta.
They say they are giving the police the space they need to do their job.
Parrish was last seen on Mill Street, wearing pink sweatpants and a black jacket.
Anyone with information concerning Parrish is urged to call 706-821-1020 or 706-821-1080.
