AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Late Friday afternoon, Deputy Jailer Jack Hayes was charged with Giving Inmates Gadgets With out Consent and Violation of Oath by a Public Officer and launched on a $10,200 bond, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Workplace says. 30-year-old Jack Hayes was employed as a Deputy Jailer on 07/31/19 and there aren’t any disciplinary reviews on file, authorities say.

The Sheriff’s Workplace says, a number of days in the past the Columbia County Sheriff’s Workplace developed info that medicine and a cellphone could also be of their facility. They instantly performed an investigation and a small quantity of narcotic’s in addition to a cellphone have been found, authorities inform us.
