Matt Schlachter, Deputy Supervisor, for Columbia County Code Enforcement says THEY PAID THE APARTMENTS A VISIT AFTER RECEIVING COMPLAINTS FROM MULTIPLE RESIDENTS, LIKE RODRIGUEZ. He says they discovered a combined bag, some residences in worse form than others. 1 UNIT WAS CONDEMnED AND THAT RESIDENT WAS RELOCATED IMMEDIATELY. when an house is condemned, he says it basically signifies that it is NOT FIT TO BE LIVED IN. In the case of the condemned unit, “WE JUST DID NOT SEE A WAY OF ALLOWING HIM TO STAY THERE, WE DIDN’T FEEL COMFORTABLE ALLOWING HIM TO STAY IN THAT APARTMENT BASED ON THE CONDITION OF IT.”
