City of Augusta nearly ready to resume normal operations
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – City of Augusta operations will resume on Tuesday, a week and a half after Hurricane Helene.
The Judicial Center and court operations will resume on Wednesday.
“Our emergency response teams have been working around the clock to ensure the safety of residents, and we are now focused on resuming normal city operations,” the city said in a weekend statement.

“The City of Augusta remains committed to the well-being of our residents as we rebuild and recover together. We extend our deepest gratitude to our employees, emergency responders, and all residents for their resilience and cooperation during this challenging time,” teh city said.
