Buddy Carter leads letter to approve emergency declaration for Georgia

Ga. (WTOC) – Monday, Georgia Representative Buddy Carter led a letter in support of calling the White House to approve an emergency declaration for Georgia. He led the letter to President Biden in support of Governor Brian Kemp’s request.

According to Carter’s office, the letter was signed by:

Senators Raphael Warnock (D-GA) and Jon Ossoff (D-GA) and Reps. Sanford Bishop (D-GA), Drew Ferguson (R-GA), Hank Johnson (D-GA), Nikema Williams (D-GA), Rich McCormick (R-GA), Lucy McBath (D-GA), Austin Scott (R-GA), Andrew Clyde (R-GA), Mike Collins (R-GA), Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), Rick Allen (R-GA), and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).
