Blaze at storage facility sends 5 firefighters to hospital

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – An Augusta fireman is still in the healthcare facility Tuesday after a storage space center fire on Monday.

Firemens remain to examine to ensure the fire does not draw back up. They state there are actions to help in reducing the threat of something such as this from occurring.

We spoke to one storage space center proprietor down the road, that states this is something out of a headache.

Smoke might be seen from the freeway as firemens functioned to consist of a surging storage space center fire at Merely Self Storage Space.

“My heart simply sank,” claimed Max Vallotton.

Vallotton saw the smoke on his drive right into job. He’s the proprietor of Entrance 5 Self Storage Space.

“It was absolutely a headache. The smoke was simply extremely hefty and also extremely black smoke, and also I simply flinched,” he claimed.
