Beware of lane closures in North Augusta, Augusta, Columbia County
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Here are some traffic alerts for local drivers:
NORTH AUGUSTA
- Sewer main improvements will require one lane to be closed in the 10000 block of Atomic Road on Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should use caution and be alert for workers and equipment when traveling through the work zone.
AUGUSTA
- Broad Street between 15th Street and St. Sebastian is now open to traffic. The section from St. Sebastian to 13th Street remains partially closed while work continues.
COLUMBIA COUNTY
- Temporary, intermittent lane closures on Furys Ferry Road from Hardy McManus Road to the South Carolina state line. These closures will occur daily from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sept. 15 through Oct. 20.
