Augusta Women in Sixth Place at the Valspar Augusta Invitational with One Round to Go – Augusta University
Augusta, Ga.- In the annual Valspar Augusta Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club, the Augusta women are in sixth place with two rounds in the books. Sara Adams is the low Jaguar in 13th place at 1-under-par. Missouri has a nine shot lead over Furman with Kentucky in third place.

Adams shot rounds of 73-70 and had pretty clean scorecards all day. She had four total birdies and three total bogeys, including just a single bogey in round two.
Puntita Pawichai posted rounds of 71-74 and is 1-over-par, which is good enough for 19th place.
The third counting scores were turned in by Marine Legentil with rounds of 76-72. Legentil is 4-over-par. She had a combined six birdies between the two rounds.
Freshman Danielle Higbeen shot 77-76 and is 9-over-par after the first two rounds. Higbee had five birdies on the day.
Sofia Valera had rounds of 77-78 and three total birdies.
Sunday’s final round will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
