Augusta getting $3.87 million for affordable housing

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Augusta is in line for almost $4 million in federal funding for inexpensive housing.

The cash is accessible by way of the U.S. Division of Housing and City Growth’s Neighborhood Planning and Growth grant applications.

The cash for Augusta-Richmond County consists of:

• $1,725,408 in group improvement block grant cash. This system funds efforts to construct housing and an acceptable dwelling setting and increase financial alternatives for low- and moderate-income folks.
