4-year-old hospitalized after falling out of vehicle, being run over in Grovetown
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A 4-year-old boy has been hospitalized after falling out of a vehicle and being run over on Exit 190 in Grovetown on Monday afternoon.
According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, the victim fell out of a vehicle while going through the diverging diamond. After falling out, he was then run over by his mom’s car, the sheriff’s office says.
The sheriff’s office says the victim is currently in the PICU at a local hospital.
The investigation is pending and there have been no charges filed yet, officials say.
