Training Day held to help make Atlanta nightlife safer
ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) – New efforts are underway to curb crime in and round Atlanta’s nightlife.
Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens and different leaders held Atlanta’s first Coaching Day on Saturday to handle the town’s operational wants for a safer nightlife.
The coaching supplied assets to bar and membership homeowners and staff to learn to de-escalate violence, administer first help, and reply to emergencies.
“We offered coaching modules for folks to return in, get the help that we’re attempting to supply for them with a purpose to handle a few of their wants, notably de-escalation of conditions, de-escalation coaching, we’ve got a group engagement piece round licensing and allowing, understanding these processes,” stated Michael Paul.
The Coaching Day is a part of the mayor’s new Nightlife Division, which he launched earlier this month. The division will handle institutions which have a historical past of excessive crime in and round them.
