Suspect arrested after SWAT standoff at NW Atlanta home
ATLANTA – Police have safely eliminated a feminine sufferer and apprehended a male suspect after a multi-hour SWAT standoff at an Atlanta house Friday evening.
Officers say round 5 p.m. Friday, officers had been referred to as to the 1600 block of Bridgeport Drive after experiences of a dispute at a house within the space.
When officers arrived on the scene, they had been instructed by a witness {that a} girl was being held within the house in opposition to her will.
After hours of working on the scene, officers had been capable of safely get the lady out of the home. Officers inform FOX 5 the lady had minor accidents that had been handled on the scene.
The male suspect inside the house was later apprehended by a SWAT crew and is in custody. Officers haven’t mentioned what he has been charged with.
