ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) – In Georgia, there are greater than 50,000 home violence disaster calls made annually. Atlanta leads the state within the variety of home violence fatalities and close to fatalities.

With the burden of looking for security usually falling on the shoulders of the sufferer, obtainable assistance is paramount.

That’s why Standing with Survivors, an initiative comprised of Atlanta Volunteer Legal professionals Basis volunteers, is working to make it possible for assistance is there.
