No injuries after tree falls on southwest Atlanta home

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A tree crashed through the roof of a home on Mayflower Avenue.

Christman Hampton says he was home with his daughter and five other people when it happened.

“I’m a military guy so the first thing you do is make sure everybody is ok. It scared everybody! Sheet rock’s everywhere, insulation is everywhere. The kids freaked out but we got everybody out.”

Thankfully no one was hurt.
