Kirk Cousins leaves Vikings to sign monster free agent contract with Atlanta Falcons

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (Dakota News Now) -Some disappointing new for Kirk Cousins fans who wanted the quarterback to remain a Viking where it was obvious, he really loved playing.

But it’s pretty hard to turn down a 4-year $180 million dollar contract which is what he got Monday from the Atlanta Falcons.

The money is pretty shocking with Cousins coming off an Achilles injury. But Atlanta has plenty of weapons and feels that an experienced QB like Cousins will get them over the top.

And that means the Vikings will certainly be drafting a QB in late April as high as possible.
