Pack your bags, it’s almost time for preseason!

Atlanta United announced today the locations of its remaining preseason matches in addition to the January 27th game vs Birmingham Legion in Alabama.

The squad actually begins training on January 15, with the first open media session available on the 16th. That session will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, in what will likely be some of the arriving player’s first moments in their new home ground.

The team will then continue training at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground until the aforementioned Birmingham match, which kicks off at 3 P.M. on the 27th.

The Turner Sports Complex in Athens, GA will then play host to a matchup between the Five Stripes and Memphis 901 at 3 P.M. on February 3rd. Tickets for that match will begin presale on January 18th, and then to the public on the 22nd. The game will serve as a rematch between former Atlanta United 2’s manager Stephen Glass’ Memphis side and Atlanta since the former knocked the MLS squad from the Open Cup in 2023.

Both of those matches will be streamed on http://www.atlutd.com/live and broadcast by our good friends at 92.9 The Game.

Atlanta United then turns their eyes south towards Florida, with two matches at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg/Tampa. The first will be vs CF Montreal on February 7th, with the second against the home side Tampa Bay Rowdies on February 10th.

The Five Stripes will wrap up the preseason matches against Sporting Kansas City on February 17th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in a closed friendly at Barry University.
