Atlanta mayor wants your input regarding the city’s next police chief

ATLANTA — Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens is taking a neighborhood strategy as town determines who would be the Atlanta Police Division’s high cop.

At the moment, the division is led by interim chief Darin Schierbaum, who assumed command of the division after the retirement of Chief Rodney Bryant in April.

Whereas the interim title has been positioned on Schierbaum, the division is trying to conduct an intensive search with the enter from the neighborhood.
