All clear given after bomb threat at downtown Atlanta building near Tuesday quadruple shooting
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – An all-clear was given following an investigation into a reported bomb threat in downtown Atlanta, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
The threat was reported at 230 Peachtree Street NW, which witnesses tell us is a U.S. passport office. The all-clear was given shortly before noon. Officials said no explosives were found and people could reenter the building.
The bomb threat was near 235 Peachtree Street where four people were shot on Tuesday.
Atlanta police said they assisted the Federal Protective Service in the investigation.
