Acuna’s long double highlights first rehab stint
Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuna Jr. went 1-for-3 with a double in his first rehab look Tuesday evening for Triple-A Gwinnett.
Acuna batted leadoff for the visiting Stripers, flying out to heart discipline in his first at bat, doubling off the wall in right-center in his second after which ending his night with a groundout to 3rd.

He was changed in proper discipline within the sixth inning.
Pitching for Jacksonville was 23-year-old righty Max Meyer, ESPN’s Thirty third-ranked general prospect.
Acuna is rehabbing a torn proper ACL that ended his 2021 season. He opened this season on the 10-day injured record and had been figuring out on the membership’s spring coaching facility in North Port, Florida, earlier than starting the rehab project Tuesday in Jacksonville.
