2 wanted for questioning in deadly drive-by triple shooting in southwest Atlanta, police say
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help in providing information on two persons of interest wanted for questioning about a deadly drive-by triple shooting in southwest Atlanta, according to Crime Stoppers Atlanta.
The Atlanta Police Department said the shooting happened on the 300 block of Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard SW near Windsor Street in the Mechanicsville neighborhood just after 2 p.m. on Jan. 2.
The three victims, who were all between the ages of 18 and 21, were the targets of the attack, according to police.
The victims were taken to the hospital. One of them was taken from the scene in critical condition and died from his injuries. He was identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office as 18-year-old Montravious Pitts.
On Monday, police identified Desmond Lindsey and Terrance Cole as persons of interest wanted for questioning in the shooting.

Tipsters do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
