2 injured after argument leads to double stabbing in northwest Atlanta, police say
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Police said two women were stabbed, one of whom was taken to the hospital in critical condition, in northwest Atlanta Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Atlanta Police Department (APD), the incident happened at 55 Maple Dr. NW, the address for an apartment complex across the street from Mercedes-Benz Stadium, around 3:19 p.m.
When officers arrived, they reportedly found a woman with a stab wound. Police said she was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
A second woman was also found with a stab wound, according to APD. She was alert, conscious and breathing, and was also taken to the hospital, police said.
According to APD, an argument led to the stabbing. Police have not released the names of the women.
