14, 16-year-old teens dead, others injured after shootout at southwest Atlanta apartment complex

ATLANTA — Atlanta police have confirmed with Channel 2 Motion Information that a number of teenagers had been shot in southwest Atlanta at an house advanced.

Police responded to the scene at 3000 Continental Colony Parkway after studies of individuals being shot round 5:08 p.m.

In line with the police, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old had been pronounced lifeless on the scene whereas a number of different victims had been transported to a close-by hospital.

The tackle seems to be an house advanced named The Retreat at Greenbriar.

Police mentioned three teenagers — a 15-year-old feminine, 15-year-old male, and an 11-year-old boy — had been transported to an area hospital.

Police imagine some kind of argument on social media escalated the incident to gunfire.

“One group of people got here to the house with their weapons, then the opposite group fired their weapons,” Deputy Chief Charles Hampton Jr. mentioned. “Each events had weapons.”
