Oregon Ducks beat Arkansas, advance to NCAA volleyball regionals

The Oregon Geese are headed to the regionals of the NCAA volleyball event after beating Arkansas 3-1 in a second-round match Saturday evening at Matthew Knight Enviornment in Eugene.

No. 3 seed Oregon (25-5) advances to face second-seeded Nebraska (26-5), which topped Kansas 3-1 in its second-round match. The Geese and Cornhuskers will meet in a round-of-16 match Thursday in Louisville, Kentucky.

Arkansas (21-9) gained the primary set towards Oregon 25-19, however then the Geese responded to win the following three, 25-20, 25-20 and 25-9, in entrance of a crowd of three,014.

Brooke Nuneviller led the Geese with 19 kills and Mimi Colyer completed with 15. Georgia Murphy had 19 digs for Oregon.
