NWS confirms two more tornadoes touched down in Arkansas last week
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The Nationwide Climate Service in Little Rock, Arkansas, introduced two extra tornadoes touched down Thursday morning.
This marks three tornadoes that moved by Arkansas Thursday morning. The primary reported EF-2 twister moved by Marion County, injuring two folks.
In response to the NWS, an EF-1 twister touched down in Fallswille in Newton County, Ark., round 1:15 a.m. This twister broken many bushes together with a number of outbuildings/barns. Only some houses had minor injury.
The twister began north of Fallsville and lifted west of State Freeway 21. The twister had wind gusts of 105 mph, was about 200 yards large, and traveled for 3 miles.
The second confirmed EF-1 twister occurred in Canaan, Ark., in Searcy County round 2:22 a.m. This twister uprooted and snapped a number of bushes and broken a shed. The twister had wind gusts as much as 95 mph, was about 75 yards large, and traveled 1.4 miles.
