The Razorbacks’ first six batters have scored, including four on Hudson Polk’s grand slam. 

Will Edmunson walked, advanced to second on a wild pitch and scored on Kendall Diggs’ double. 

Ben McLaughlin and Jared Sprague-Lott followed with walks and an error allowed Hudson White to reach on what was a double-play ball.

Then Polk launched a 421-foot grand slam that hit the batter’s eye in center field.

Colin Fisher was efficient aside from a four-pitch walk to Cameron Bufford with two outs.

It is a warm, windy, overcast day in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks and Tigers will get underway at 3 p.m.

Colin Fisher is on the mound for Arkansas today. He threw 39 pitches against Oklahoma State three days ago, so it isn’t likely he will go long. Expect several pitchers to get some work today. 

The Tigers are 1-6 and should be overmatched on paper, but games in this series often are more competitive than expected. Arkansas had to rally from a late five-run deficit last season to win 9-7.
