Michael Hibblen, the information director for KUAR, 89.1 FM, the Little Rock affiliate of NPR, is leaving the station to work for Arkansas PBS, he introduced as we speak on Twitter. A very long time, distinctive voice on KUAR, Hibblen has been a frequent visitor through the years on “Arkansas Week,” Arkansas PBS’ long-running public affairs present.
I received’t change my profile photograph simply but, however after 34 years in radio, the final 13 at @kuarpublicradio, as we speak I submitted my resignation letter. That is the second distinguished departure on the station this 12 months. Basic supervisor Nathan Vandiver left in July after his spouse acquired a brand new job in Portland, Oregon.
