Hogs to play Auburn in SEC Tournament

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas will play Auburn at subsequent week’s SEC Event in Nashville, Tenn.

The Razorbacks, who had been picked to complete second within the league within the preseason, are the No. 10 seed and the Tigers are the No. 7 seed. Their sport is scheduled for Thursday at 6 p.m. on SEC Community.

The winner will play No. 2 seed Texas A&M on Friday at 6 p.m. on SEC Community.

Arkansas misplaced its sport at Auburn in the course of the common season, falling 72-59 on Jan. 7. Tigers guard Wendell Inexperienced had 19 factors and 5 assists, and Anthony Black led the Razorbacks with 23 factors.

Thursday’s matchup would be the groups’ second on the SEC Event. Arkansas defeated Auburn 75-67 in 2000 to assert the convention match title in Atlanta.

Arkansas (19-12, 8-10 SEC) completed the common season with three consecutive losses. It dropped 5 of seven video games after a Feb. 7 victory at Kentucky.

Auburn (20-11, 10-8) snapped a two-game dropping streak with a 79-70 victory over No. 12 Tennessee. 

The Razorbacks are 3-2 within the SEC Event beneath fourth-year coach Eric Musselman.
