Connections: Arkansas Blue Cross hires NWA network rep – Talk Business & Politics

Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield has hired Dawn Roberts as a network development representative in Northwest Arkansas. Roberts will conduct provider education and offer admin support to hospitals, clinics and other medical facilities in the state’s northwest and west central regions.

During her career, Roberts has held multiple jobs at various healthcare facilities in Northwest Arkansas, including business office manager, practice manager, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance officer and quality assurance coordinator.

Roberts, from Gentry, earned a bachelor’s degree in health information management from Arkansas Tech University and a master’s degree in health science administration from the University of Arkansas.

Founded in 1948, Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield is the largest health insurer in Arkansas.
