A Big 12 defensive back is expected to visit Arkansas.

Cincinnati’s Jordan Young is expected to begin his official visit Tuesday and leave Wednesday. Arkansas secondary coach Deron Wilson is his lead recruiter. 

Young, 6-0 and 192 pounds, had 35 tackles, 1 tackle for loss and 5 pass breakups this season. He had a 74.4 grade by Pro Football Focus and a team-high 604 defensive snaps. 

He was a Rivals 4-star recruit as a senior at Gaither High School in Tampa, Fla., in 2021. He signed with Florida over Alabama, Georgia, Miami, North Carolina and others.

On3.com industry ranking lists him the No. 18 cornerback and the No. 106 overall transfer. 

He had 10 tackles, 1 pass breakup and 1 blocked kick in 10 games in 2022 for the Gators. He played in three games while redshirting as a freshman. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
