Arkansas heads into tonight’s game looking to rebound from their loss against Illinois as they get ready to take on the Miami Hurricanes.  Miami started the season 3-0, averaging 98 points per game, but since then, they’ve gone 0-4 and are averaging 73 points per game.  In Miami’s last game, they lost to Charleston Southern, a 1-7 team by a final score of 83-79.  It was apparent that Miami struggled on the offensive side of things without their point guard, Nijel Pack, who leads Miami in scoring this season with 15.2 points and 4.7 assists per game.  Today, John Calipari and this Arkansas team will be looking to hand Miami their fifth loss in a row, and I think they have a good chance of doing so.

Arkansas is averaging 80.6 points per game this season, and a big part of their offense is from Adou Thiero, as he’s averaging 19.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, shooting 63.2% from the field this season.  The freshman, Boogie Fland, has had a great start to this season averaging 15.9 points and 4.9 assists per game.  As for Miami, they’re going to need players like Jalen Blackmon who is averaging 11.6 points per game and Brandon Johnson who is averaging 11.4 points per game to step up in a big way if they want to keep it close against Arkansas. Miami is allowing their opponents to score 63.6 points per game, and Miami is allowing 74.1 points per game.  I think John Calipari has a good hold on this Arkansas team, and with Miami possibly not having Nijel Pack in their lineup, I think Arkansas should cruise to victory, making them my best bet of the day.
