Arkansas to open against Louisville in Maui Invitational
LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) — Arkansas will face Louisville within the opening spherical of a loaded 2022 Maui Invitational bracket.
The eight-team bracket introduced Monday for the November occasion will embody six groups that went to the 2022 NCAA Event, together with three that reached the Candy 16.
Arizona faces Cincinnati within the opening spherical after reaching the Candy 16 in coach Tommy Lloyd’s first season. Texas Tech, one other Candy 16 group final season, performs Creighton and San Diego State faces Ohio State within the event’s return to the Lahaina Civic Middle on Nov. 21-23.
The 2020 event was held in Asheville, North Carolina, and final 12 months’s was performed in Las Vegas.
Arkansas has reached the Elite Eight the previous two seasons below coach Eric Musselman.
